Our History
In 1999, five families formed Wings of Faith in the San Fernando Valley. Four years later Wings of Faith moved into a building at TLC (Therapeutic Living Center for the Blind) in Reseda. Six years later WoF moved into the Reseda Women's Club with two serivces and brunch in between.
In 1999, five families formed Wings of Faith in the San Fernando Valley.
The distinctives of Wings of Faith are:
- To agree on the basics; to agree to disagree on everything else.
- Messages from the Bible -- to find out what it says.
- Lots of music.
- Brunch during the service.
- A sincere desire to share the Good News with all those around.
- Unfortunately, there is no stained glass anywhere near our
worship center, so we enjoy them here! - We believe the Lord has given us the assignment to minister to a unique group of people - developmentally disabled adults. We have embraced the opportunity although we feel somewhat unprepared for the challenges, but those just cause us to seek the Lord even more for His help.
